MASSAGE THERAPY APPLICATION AND BENEFITS

Massage is an incredibly powerful tool. Anyone who has experienced sore and tight muscles and has employed a massage therapist to remedy them will appreciate how effective a massage can be. In horses massage can be used:

To reduce stress and tension and promote relaxation
For rehabilitation after injury
To prevent injury (prehab) by addressing any issues in the musculoskeletal system before they become serious problems

YOUR APPOINTMENT

At your first appointment I will find out all about you and your horse and get to know you both a little better. I will do a static and dynamic assessment of your horse and will find out about any relevant medical history and current concerns or issues you are experiencing. I will follow this with a hands on assessment of your horse looking for any areas of tension, tightness or tenderness.

The treatment will last around 60 minutes and will cover the whole body and where appropriate I will finish the session with a few stretches. After the treatment I will discuss with you what I have found and give you some aftercare advice and information.

PRICING

As a newly qualified massage therapist looking to build my client base I am offering visits for £30 for the rest of 2022. If you are outside of a 15 miles radius a small additional fuel charge may be added. Please get in touch to enquire.

NOTES AND POLICIES

There are instances where massage therapy is not appropriate, if in doubt please get in touch to discuss.
Please make sure your horse is clean and dry for the appointment.
You will be asked to sign a disclaimer at the start of the visit, if you would like to review this beforehand please do get in touch for a copy of the text.
If you need to cancel your appointment please do so as soon as possible , a cancellation fee may be charges for cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment.
